Pre-Christmas Zoo and Bath-time

At the beginning of December (or maybe the end of November) we took a Saturday and spontaneously went to the zoo in D.C. again. Unfortunately our camera battery died a few minutes into the day, but here are a few snap-shots of our time.
We took the metro into the city this time for extra fun. Another unusually fun part of the day was seeing the amazingly beautiful display of Christmas lights around the zoo, as it was close to 6 o'clock in the evening before we left. I always enjoy the zoo (likely because of the enthusiasm and energy of the kids), and I always love being in the city!
