Mason-Dixon Migrations

Pilot Mountain State Park just north of King, NC

One of our yearly traditions over the past four years or so has been to get together with (Dr.) Aaron and Danae Amstutz for camping and picnicking. Also, this is our last get together before our good friends become Northerners, moving to Greencastle PA where a vet practice awaits the good doctor. Also this will be the last time that there is only one baby present for the festivities as young Amstutz is due in mid June. The last two meetings have taken place at Pilot Mountain which is approx. half-way between Durham and Christiansburg. As always we enjoyed great food, competitive Rook (Sylvia takes this round) and general relaxation that comes naturally when enjoying the company of good friends. Elliot also seemed to enjoy his first extended day outing in the woods. We look forward to seeing the Amstutz's again in their new home in Greencastle later this summer, and meeting Baby Amstutz as well!

Nice framing for the pilot rock picture! Sylvia, great mother/son thumb-sucking shot. . . what contentment and peace. Dad R
