Vincent Is Nearly A Year Old!

Can you believe that Vincent is almost a year old? Wow!! He's a fun little guy that is full of life and spunk. He adds a lot of humor and love to our family. Here's what's he's up to now that he's 11 months old:

-LOVES tractors, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, and basically any moving piece of equipment. He makes great noises for these vehicles.
-LOVES balls too, and will imitate a dribbling motion for any ball that he spots.
-Is good at picking out any ball or vehicle in pictures in books - even if they are hidden in the background, or when he's outside.
-Loves riding the little fire engine and Elliot's tractor.
-Is a little "cuddle bug" and loves to snuggle up with you and simultaneously suck his thumb. He also is attached to his blanket that my grandma made for him - he holds it up to his face and sucks his thumb.
-Loves bread, yogurt, and fruit.
-Drinks formula now and is no longer breastfed.
-Still refusing to crawl, but scoots backwards on his belly. He can stand on his own and has great balance, but is cautious about standing alone.
-Loves music - the louder the better! His favorite devotional songs are "Running Over", and "Building Up The Temple". He does an imitation of the "running over" motion and then claps his hands.
-Likes to play "hide and seek" with Elliot.
-Communicates his wishes clearly - leaves no doubt about what he likes or dislikes!
-Loves the outdoors. I took him on a bicycle ride a couple of weekends ago when it was warm, and he took in everything - even made tractor noises when he spotted them in the fields.
-Is a great sleeper - goes to sleep really easily and sleeps solid for about 12 hours at night. Takes an hour morning nap and around a 2 hour afternoon nap.
-Has 7 teeth and is working on the 8th.

He's a keeper, and we love him very much!!!
