Elliot's expression captures his reaction to the beach.  He LOVED being out in the water, swimming in the waves, boogie boarding, playing in the sand,  and playing with his friends.  It was extra fun to see his joy and enthusiasm this year.

We were graced with Soren's presence this year! Cute little boy!!  We all loved holding him and seeing his sweet smiles and coos.

Ahhhhhhh!  Relaxation, play, friends, good food, games, sun, sand, waves, water, seafood!  Betsy, Philip, Soren, Deb, Peter, Clement, Sophia, Petrah, and the 5 of us comprised the beach gang this year.  A fun group to play, relax, simply be, and converse with.  The board game of choice this week was Ticket to Ride, the game that caused the most laughter and craziness was Password, while Scattergories brought out the contentious nature of some of us! And the Mad Crabber night out served up some delectable crab legs, shrimp, crawdads (at least per report of Haddad's and Elliot and Vincent), mussles, clams, and calamari.  YUM!
The only negative part -- biting mosquitoes looking to feast on any bare skin!  Seriously, one day I probably had about 20 mosquitoes on my hands/arms/back/legs by the time I got to the beach house.  ARGH!!!
We're grateful for the privilege of vacation, and vacation with fun honest real people!
