It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Thus far the Christmas-y look in our house consists of a beautiful poinsettia plant (well, it was more beautiful until some rowdy boys knocked off several stems...) which was a gift from Mom and Dad Rhodes, and this Gingerbread House that the boys decorated yesterday - with actually very little assistance from me. I mostly supervised how much of that delightful sugary stuff went into their mouths! I think they did pretty good, don't you?

They did a great job with the gingerbread house, with nice dispersing of different candies :) i love that christmasy feel. it's starting to look like christmas here to with a real (albeit short and scrawny) tree with decorations, some tensil and a string of stars from ten thousand villages. we are making christmas cookies tonight and going christmas caroling tomorrow. i love this time of year. missing you all though. love you, Carmen

Aunt Luci says, GREAT job, boys!!! And the same to Mommy for enduring the sticky mess! Great for fine motor skills, and to learn to enjoy the process as much as the product.
